Community Members
Certain members of the Acceptancepages community ( companies, foundations, contributors, customers, etc.) choose to interact with Acceptancepages in ways that require Acceptancepages and others to know more about them. The amount and type of information that Acceptancepages gathers from those members depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, members who wish to post content to certain portions of Acceptancepages's web sites or participate in live chat session(s) are asked to provide usernames that are used to identify content as having been posted by a particular member (who is identified by the username). Members who use the G-card are obliged to provide all required information, such as contact information, including mail and bank information up to and sometimes including telephone or fax numbers, so that they can be contacted as necessary. On occasion, community members are contacted by email and asked for a physical address or geographic location so that they may be sent information about Acceptancepages-related events, receive items by mail or get invited to gatherings In such cases, this is the only purpose for reveiling the physical address of members. Personal information about indivudal members can only be made available for marketing purposes to Acceptancepages advertisers, and only if specfically agreed by members.
Customers of Acceptancepages stores or affiliates (selling merchandise and/or other items on behalf of Acceptancepages) are asked to provide complementary information, including billing and shipping addresses, credit card numbers or similar information to third party vendors, in order to process their transactions and deliver their purchases by Acceptancepages or a third-party fulfillment vendor. We can present a list of vendors cooperting with Acceptancepages. However, Acceptancepages does not guarantee this list always being up to date.
Acceptancepages encourages community members to provide their name and email addresses, in order to establish a direct engagement with Acceptancepages. Acceptancepages can inform members about promotional and cross-promotional initiatives, let them participate in surveys, send newsletters with information about the Garaloco Foundation and events, as well as information and or promotional materials of package deals or other items related to their area of interest.
These are opt-in interactions where community members affirmatively sign-up for inclusion in a direct communication with Acceptancepages (and with an ability to unsubscribe/opt-out on any email received). These campaigns may be conducted with the help of a third-party customer relationship manager to help us manage the database of information and its analysis and use.
